I had the pleasure of working with Ermal during my traineeship at Volt Europa, where he served as HR Manager. From day one, he made sure everything was set up for me to feel safe, supported, and able to perform at my best, and it was clear this care extended to every employee and intern, not just me. He is a natural at building systems and organizational structure where others might settle for improvisation, and I can't count the number of times I saw him push to improve the organization as a whole while making sure nothing fell through the cracks.
Something that stands out to me is that Ermal never shies away from a difficult problem. When my contract renewal became genuinely complicated, he didn't treat it as a dead end: he dug deep into documentation and regulations to actively build the conditions that could make a renewal possible. He combines the intelligence for creative problem-solving with the drive to take real initiative.
